Post is mail, calendar and contacts. Your address takes a kingdom’s name (wessex.email, mercia.email, northumbria.email, eastanglia.email) or none at all (folc.uk), and every spelling of your name delivers to the same inbox.
What it is for
Read it on the web in Roundcube, or in any client you like over IMAP, JMAP and DAV. Calendars and contacts sync with the same account. The stack is Stalwart, Roundcube and rspamd: all open source, and so is our configuration of it.
Your key on your mail
Give us a PGP public key and your mail is encrypted at rest with it. We cannot read it after that, and nor can anyone who walks off with a disk.
There is one honest caveat: a message reaches us as the sender wrote it, is scanned for spam and viruses, and is only then encrypted to your key. In that window the system holds it in the clear. We have a strict rule that nobody here reads mail, and access to the machines is logged, but the window exists and no provider can remove it. The privacy notice sets it out in full.
