Hord runs Forgejo, an open-source forge kept by a not-for-profit co-operative. We run it as it comes, with a thin patch for the house look, and our patch is public.
What it is for
Push a repository over SSH or HTTPS, open pull requests, run pipelines on runners we own rather than minutes we rent, and publish containers and packages to the registry that ships with it.

Sign in with Ward. Accounts are invitation only while the platform is young; ask for one and we will write back.
A private repository is private to you and to whoever you share it with. A forge has to read your code in order to serve it, so an administrator could in principle read it; we do not, and the privacy notice says exactly what that means.
